Rumours about the founder of Taijiquan
Boxing has a very long history in China, and has produced many famous boxers and created various schools of boxing, Taijiquan being one of them. The word ‘Taiji’ originates from ‘Zhouyi-Series of Rhetoric’: ‘There is Taiji in Yi, and it is the birth of the two yi’, which contains the meaning of the highest, the most extreme, the absolute, and the only one. The meaning of Taijiquan is also the same.
Regarding the origin and founder of Taijiquan, there are many different opinions, roughly there are five different sayings such as Xu Xuanping in Tang Dynasty, Zhang Sanfeng in Song Dynasty, Zhang Sanfeng in Ming Dynasty, Chen Wangting and Wang Zongyue in Qing Dynasty.mahong.

Wang Zong and Wang Zongyue are people of two times. According to the available information, Wang Zongyue was a person in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, and wrote ‘Taijiquan Theory’.
